Chip Richie

Chip Richie is a writer, producer, director based in Dallas, Texas.   Chip believes that “when you communicate from the heart, people respond”. 

His historical documentaries on Native Americans, The British Royal Navy, and the American Civil War have garnered numerous awards and world recognition.  (Trail of Tears: Cherokee Legacy – James Earl Jones, Wes Studi.  Black Indians: An American Story – James Earl Jones, Our Spirits Don’t Speak English: Indian Boarding SchoolsDon’t Get Sick After June: American Indian Healthcare – Peter Coyote, Sea Warriors:  The Royal Navy in the Age of Sail – Captain Richard Woodman) 

He is second-generation filmmaking, getting his start working with his father who founded Robert Yarnall Richie Productions in 1939.  As producer/director/cameraman, Chip has been responsible for turnkey completion of a wide variety of corporate image and marketing communications films and videos, as well as documentaries and training presentations for many Fortune 500 companies. He has also produced and directed television documentaries, sports entertainment, and many television commercials.  

Chip has produced on national and international levels with practical working experience in the Pacific Rim, Arabian Peninsula, Great Britain, European Continent, Mexico, and South America.  

When not making films Chip enjoys practicing and teaching yoga.  He and his wife of 39 years reside in Dallas have one daughter and a standard poodle.

Robyn Gramly

Robyn Gramly came into the industry as one of the first non-linear editors in the Dallas market. Chip was one of her earliest mentors.  In the nearly 30 years since, she has been a writer, director, editor, and producer on a variety of genres and formats, including documentary, corporate, commercials, and television series. 

After serving twelve years in public education as a film and broadcast teacher, Robyn finds her passion in ‘teaching through storytelling’. She believes all projects should be entertaining and informative.  

Being the daughter and sister of servicemen, Robyn has a deep appreciation for military veterans and the United States. When not creating visual stories, she enjoys seeking out Made In the USA products and visiting local shops and artisans with her husband of 25 plus years. Together, they have two adult children and six fur babies.
